Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services on devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. Without our prior written consent, you may not resell, rent, sublicense or commercially exploit the Services or their content, or integrate them into another product or service offered to others.

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Services, or attempt to obtain their source code, except where expressly permitted by law;
• access our servers or APIs at scale using scripts, crawlers or other automated means, or interfere with the operation or security of the Services;
• circumvent, remove or tamper with advertising, purchase verification, usage limits or other technical protection measures;
• use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others or endangers public safety.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services without notice if you violate these rules.

Traffic conditions, live camera images, public transport arrival times, speed camera locations, weather, air quality, fuel prices, exchange rates and other information shown in the Services come mainly from open data published by government agencies (for example, Taiwan’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Freeway Bureau, Transport Data eXchange (TDX), Central Weather Administration, Ministry of Environment and local governments) and from other third-party providers, and are used under the Open Government Data License or the terms of each provider.

Copyright and other rights in such data and live images remain with the original agencies or rights holders; we only aggregate and present them and do not produce the data. Third-party links, maps and services within the Services (for example, Apple or Google) are provided by those third parties and are subject to their own terms and policies.

All information provided by the Services is for reference only. Real-time traffic, camera images, arrival times, weather, air quality and similar information may be delayed, interrupted, incomplete or inaccurate because of the update frequency or maintenance of the data source, network transmission or system processing, and camera images may not reflect current conditions.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or continued availability of any information. For important trips or decisions, please rely on official information published by the relevant government agencies or authorities.

Alerts about speed cameras, average-speed zones and enforcement locations are compiled mainly from government open data. They may not cover every location, and may differ from actual conditions when equipment is moved, added or decommissioned. Alerts are only an aid and do not replace the driver’s duty of care.

Always obey traffic laws, speed limits and on-site signs and signals. Do not hold or operate your phone or watch camera images while driving; let a passenger operate it, or use it only after stopping safely. You are solely responsible for any fines, penalties or other consequences arising from traffic violations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including, without limitation, traffic fines, travel delays, property damage, loss of data or loss of business) arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, or from your reliance on any information they provide, except for liability caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

The software, interface design, text, icons, logos, trademarks and other content of the Services (excluding third-party data) are owned by DoItWell Application Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.) and international law. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly transmit or otherwise exploit them.

Some features of the Services (for example, ad removal, donations or premium features) may require payment or a subscription. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and billing, auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the rules of the respective store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.

Apps obtained from the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA); apps obtained from Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

The Services may display advertising provided by third parties such as Google AdMob and Google AdSense. Advertisers and ad platforms are responsible for ad content; we do not guarantee the quality of any products or services advertised, and any transaction between you and an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information, and forms part of these Terms.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time, including adjusting features when a data source is no longer available, for system maintenance or for other operational reasons, and may do so without prior notice. We are not liable for the effects of such changes, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in law, the Services or our operations. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date above. If you continue to use the Services after the changes, you are deemed to accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, please stop using the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be submitted to the district court where DoItWell Application Ltd. is located as the court of first instance.

If the consumer protection laws of your country or region (for example, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom) give you rights that cannot be waived by contract, nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
